Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Reportedly Headed For Divorce

There were better times for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, but lately it's been anything but happy. According to various reports, the power couple is headed toward a divorce. What went wrong?

The couple is said to have separated back in May and have been living apart, but they've been meeting with divorce attorneys to negotiate a property settlement and custody arrangement for their two fraternal twin children, Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Scott Cannon.

A source says Mariah has been upset over husband's work schedule, which takes him all over the country for various hosting and deejay duties. A website that estimates couple's net worth reported the duo is worth more than $500 million, so needing more money to pay the bills wasn't really an issue.

About the marriage, an insider told Us Weekly, "It has been shaky for a while, but it all came to a head recently."

Reports have said that Mariah became extremely unhappy with Nick Cannon when he revealed intimate details of their sex life to Howard Stern. But that wasn't the only radio stunt that upset Mimi. Back in March, while visiting Big Boy's radio show he was asked of the five celebrities he has slept with, Nick rattled of Kim Kardashian's name. Mariah, reportedly, felt humiliated. Reps for the couple have not commented on the breakup reports.
