A Florida mother is accused of hanging up on a phone call with police about her missing daughter because she had to go on stage at a strip club.

Bobbey Jo Boucher, 29, left her 10-year-old daughter at a barbecue Wednesday afternoon before going to work. When the girl did not return home, her grandmother called police, Tampa TV station WTSP reported.

When police called Boucher to tell her that her daughter was missing, she told officers "I have to get on stage" and hung up, according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.

The girl was eventually found unharmed at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Boucher was arrested about an hour later and has been charged with misdemeanor obstruction.
