Kim Says"We're Bigger Than I Love Lucy"
Kim Kardashian took center stage at Re/code's Code Mobile conference on Monday, where she opened up about her hugely successful video game, social media practices, obsession with Blackberry -- and even compared her family's E! show to legendary comedy, "I Love Lucy."
During the 30-minute conversation, Re/code co-founder, Kara-Swisher, asked the 34-year-old star, "Why do people not take you seriously given success after success?"
"You know, I don't know," Kim replied. "I think that is a question that sometimes I get frustrated with. I pride myself on my work ethic, and I work really hard."
"I think that sometimes when people hear that I might have gotten success off of a reality show, they take that as a negative," Kim added. "We're filming our tenth season right now and we've had nine seasons of spin-offs, so our show, we have more episodes than I Love Lucy."
When talking about her top-rated video game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, the reality star credited its popularity to the app's lifelike quality. And, whileNorth West's mama is staying mum about how much she's made off the game – "It’s been very good to me," she told Swisher – Bloomberg reported the game could rake in $200 million in 2014, with Kim earning a reported $85 million herself.
