She enjoyed a jam-packed whistle-stop visit to London to attend the British Fashion Awards on Monday evening, followed by lunch with her new BFF Naomi Campbell the following day.

But less than 48 hours after arriving in the city, Rihanna was jetting back to New York once again.

Arriving in the Big Apple on Tuesday night after her transatlantic flight, the 26-year-old singer sensibly opted for comfort over style as she bundled up in a loose-fitting tracksuit and cosy coat.

Ensuring she wasn't restricted by her usual form-fitting attire, the We Found Love hitmaker rocked a low-key black zip-through two-piece and an oversized navy wool coat as she breezed through the arrivals terminal at JFK Airport.

Bracing herself against the chilly winter weather, Rihanna carried a grey blanket in her black leather tote bag.

The star completed her look with a pair of black horse hair-look boots.

The Bajan beauty wore her raven locks scraped back off her face into a tight bun, and opted for minimal make-up for the flight.

But in true A-list style, the pop princess made sure to inject a touch of A-list glamour with a pair of sassy sunglasses.

Rihanna enjoyed a whirlwind day in London, which saw her present a prize at the British Fashion Awards on Monday night, before dining with new bestie Naomi Campbell on Tuesday lunchtime as they grabbed a bite to eat at Hakkasan.

Rihanna jetted in to Heathrow airport on Monday and appeared to be making a bit of a week of it, staying late partying at the BFAs the same night.
