Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Mama Joyce 'won't attend Miss Sharon's funeral despite regrets about their volatile relationship'

On Tuesday it was revealed that Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Todd Tucker's mother Miss Sharon had passed away.

And now his mother-in-law Mama Joyce - who famously clashed with the late star on the series - reportedly won't attend the funeral.

According to TMZ, the 65-year-old mother of Kandi Burruss has regrets about their volatile relationship but feels she should not attend the service out of respect for the family.

On multiple occasions, Mama Joyce fought with Todd claiming he was only after her daughter's money and accused Miss Sharon of being a prostitute.

Joyce has since relented and told the website she was 'sorry for attacking Sharon by repeating gossip' and regretted not patching things up before her sudden death this week.

Kandi's mother now wants to fix her strained relationship with Todd and claims she's going to send flowers in lieu of attending Miss Sharon's funeral.

Todd was in Atlanta when he received a call notifying him that his mother had fallen ill in New York on Monday, a source exclusively revealed to Mail Online.

A friend of the reality star's discovered Miss Sharon before she was rushed to a hospital, where she died the following day.

Sharon was reportedly unconscious after suffering a stroke when Tucker arrived in New York. She then slipped into a coma overnight before passing away on Tuesday.

Tucker wrote on his Instagram later that same day: 'Today I lost my partner, my ride or die my best friend! I don't know what to do? I'm lost!

'My heart hurts so much! She was a fighter, a warrior for her son! It was me and her against the world! She's in a better place!! Mom I love you to death! Rest in peace!'

When Sharon was hospitalized Tucker's wife Kandi was reported to have been in Los Angeles

The 38-year-old took to social media by sharing a photo with Miss Sharon and Todd with the note: 'Today has been a tough day. Our family has suffered a terrible loss. Sharon was the best mother in-law!

'She was fun, energetic, loving, & caring. I loved how she liked to get up & go all the time. She would get you in check one minute & give you a hug the next minute.

'She still had a young spirit. It's unbelievable that she's gone. I'm so sad for @todd167 because they were so close... He talked to her every morning & all thru out the day, every day.

'It's hard losing people that you love but when it's out of the blue with no warning it just makes it that much harder.... I'm still in shock.'
