IT’S A WRAP: Rihanna’s Fashion Reality TV Show Cancelled (VIDEO)

Looks like Rihanna won’t be that big TV star we thought. Her Project Runway inspired fashion reality show, “Styled To Rock“, may get the boot after very poor ratings and rumors that the production was a ‘nightmare’.
“Rihanna’s diary was manic, and to be honest, after it struggled for viewers it was always going to be difficult to get her to agree to do another series,” a source told the Daily Mail.
During filming, Rihanna’s health took a serious turn for the worst which forced her to cancel several big performances in both the UK and US, and lead to her absence on the show. And even though Rihanna reached out to her celebrity bffs—Katy Perry and Kanye West—to guest-star on the show in her absence, ratings still suffered without her. Naturally without Rihanna actually being on the show it was just another reality show–and gosh, we need another one of those right.
Despite the rumors of a cancellation a Sky Living spokeswoman said: ‘It is far too early to make a decision if the show would return for a second series”. Vogue is even reporting that the show will be picked up by the Style Network just without Rihanna.

0

Rihanna celebrated Halloween with a bash at Greystone Manor in LA, where Chris Brown came out dressed like a terrorist, and the following morning she shared a topless photo of herself on Instagram, wearing the headpiece from her "weed princess" costume.
The picture was captured "The morning after! Hello November," showing off a bit of her new Isis chest tattoo. Not a bad way to kick off a new month, or to show that you reallypartied hard the night before.
Rihanna's seventh album, due out on November 16, will come in the standard edition, and what you might call the VIP baller's version as well. The limited edition, numbered"Diamonds Executive Platinum Box," edition of the album, due out on December 11, will cost $250 and feature a raft of extras not available to the average fan.
Among the goodies: collectible colored "Diamonds"? vinyl remixes, an 11 x 17 handwritten personal note from Rihanna to her Navy, 2GB credit card-style USB flash drive, unisex shirt with a Michael Muller photo of Rihanna taken during her Unapologetic album shoots, seven 12 x 15 lithographs featuring Muller photos, a Magnus Voll Mathiassen illustration and exclusive Unapologetic images. Nicki Minaj Sets The Record Straight On “My Truth” Sneak Peek

0

nicki minajAt any given moment, Nicki Minaj may burst into a British accent, or gobble at your television screen like a bulimic Barbie on a binge, but believe it or not, she is her own worst critic. Sure she’s cooky, but we love it and most importantly it’s just refreshing to have an artist who doesn’t fall into the footsteps of everyone else.
Because of said reasons, E! followed the “Va Va Voom” rapper around for 21 days in what they’re calling “Nicki Minaj: My Truth.” During the bout, cameras catch Nicki as she launches her new perfume, re-releases her album and judges future superstars on “American Idol.” In the clip, she proclaims: “Ain’t nobody gonna run me off that motherf**kin’ show, playboy.” Welp, there you have it Mariah!
Catch the premiere episode Sunday at 10:30 p.m.

President Obama Pauses Campaign To Focus On Hurricane Sandy

0

If you live on the East Coast, Hurricane Sandy was more than a trending topic on Twitter to you. It represented devastation in the black of night–free-flowing floods, uprooted trees and howling winds. In the the midst of his attempt at being re-elected, President Obama took to the White House podium yesterday to address his American people, saying:
“The great thing about America is when we go through tough times like this, we all pull together. We look out for our friends. We look out for our neighbors. And we set aside whatever issues we may have otherwise to make sure that we respond appropriately and with swiftness. I am not worried at this point about the impact on the election. I’m worried about the impact on families, and I’m worried about our first responders … The election will take care of itself next week. Right now, our No. 1 priority is to make sure that we are saving lives.”
While I hunkered down in my Brooklyn apartment, I wondered how Hurricane Sandy would effect his campaign, early voting and the election in general. President Obama took a break from his last few days in campaigning and canceled an Orlando appearance to fly back into the nearly evacuated Washington, D.C.
It’s being reported on The Daily Beast that President Obama was indeed campaigning during the devastation, proving that, “he had taken charge of the federal response and displaying compassion toward the victims of Hurricane Sandy.” You know, basically doing his job as Commander In Chief. This week is a crucial one in the election, as both candidates need to campaign to the Eastern swing states.
Mitt Romney also canceled appearances because, let’s face it, he’d look like the devil himself, asking for votes when families in the East Coast are without power and a place to call home, because of Sandy. Although, Romney’s already put his foot in his mouth when it comes to natural disasters and his role in aiding victims. Check out Romney’s feelings on FEMA below. This is a man that says, “Every time you have an occasion to take something from the federal government and send it back to the states, that’s the right direction.”
Even when it comes to responding to natural disasters, President Obama’s still got the American people’s best interest at heart and Romney has…well, his. Who will get your vote on November 6th?
